The Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission is implementing the PRI-CBO Convergence Universalization Programme to strengthen Panchayat Raj Institutions and Community-Based Organizations throughout the state. As part of the second phase of this programme, the mission has expanded its activities to 15 additional districts.

To ensure successful implementation of the project, TNSRLM is recruiting State Resource Persons, District Resource Persons, and Block Resource Persons. The selected candidates will work closely with rural communities by conducting training programmes, monitoring field activities, supporting Self Help Groups, documenting best practices, and coordinating with district and block-level officials.

This recruitment is especially suitable for candidates who have previous experience in NGOs, SHGs, rural development projects, or government welfare programmes.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications.

State Resource Person (SRP)

  • Postgraduate Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, Women Studies or any Social Science stream.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SHGs, NGOs or rural development programmes.

District Resource Person (DRP)

  • Postgraduate Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, Women Studies or related Social Science stream.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.

Block Resource Person (BRP)

  • Undergraduate Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, Women Studies or any Social Science discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

The age limit differs according to the post.

The selection process differs slightly for various posts.

SRP & DRP

BRP
