Contract Period
The engagement is initially for 2 Years and is extendable up to a maximum of 5 Years, based on performance and project requirements.
Key Terms
- Legal Status: The Individual Consultant shall have the legal status of an independent Consultant and shall not be regarded as a staff member or official of IPL.
- Termination: IPL can terminate the contract at any time without prior notice. In the normal course, one month’s notice will be provided. The Consultant can also seek termination upon giving one month’s notice to IPL.
- Confidentiality: The Consultant would be subject to the provisions of the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923.
- Intellectual Property: IPL shall be entitled to all intellectual property and other proprietary rights with regard to products, processes, inventions, documents, and other materials developed by the Consultant under the Contract.
